House Rules – Johannes‑Hoeve Baarlo

Welcome to Johannes‑Hoeve Baarlo. We want all guests to enjoy peace, safety, and a pleasant stay. For this reason, the house rules below apply. By staying with us, you agree to these rules. In case of violations, we may terminate the stay without a refund.

1. Arrival and Departure

• Check‑in: from 4:00 PM

• Uitchecken: uiterlijk 10:00 uur

• Alternative times are only possible after prior consultation and confirmation.

2. Peace and Respect

• Be considerate of other guests and local residents.

• Noise disturbance, loud behaviour or loud music is not permitted, especially in the evening and at night.

• Respect nature, the grounds, and the privacy of others.

3. Use of the Accommodation

• Handle the bungalow, the inventory, and the grounds with care.

• Report any damage or defects immediately so we can resolve them quickly.

• Furniture may not be moved outside.

4. Smoking

• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation.

• Smoking outdoors is only permitted in the designated areas and only when using an ashtray.

• In case of violations, additional cleaning costs and any damage to inventory or textiles will be fully charged.

• Serious violations may result in the immediate termination of the stay, without refund.

5. Pets

• Pets are not allowed, with the exception of officially recognised assistance dogs

• Assistance dogs must be registered in advance and must not cause any disturbance.

6. Visitors and Additional Guests

• Only the persons listed on the reservation are allowed to stay in the accommodation.

• Visitors are allowed after prior consultation, but may not stay overnight without permission.

• It is not permitted to transfer or rent out the accommodation to third parties.

7. Safety

• Open fire, fire pits and candles are not permitted.

• Barbecuing is only permitted in the designated areas and under supervision.

• Never leave children unattended.

• Always follow our safety instructions and guidelines.

8. Parking and Grounds

• Park only in the designated parking areas.

• Keep paths, walkways and emergency routes clear.

• Charging stations (if available) are intended exclusively for electric vehicles.

9. Waste and Environment

• Separate waste according to the instructions provided in the accommodation.

• Do not leave any waste on the grounds or in the garden.

• Use energy, water and heating responsibly.

10. Cleaning (mandatory before departure)

To leave the bungalow clean and hygienic for the next guests, the following points are mandatory:

• Remove the bedding from all beds and place it in the technical room.

• Leave the bungalow broom-clean and tidy.

• Completely empty all bins and rubbish bags.

• Dispose of all waste in the correct containers on the premises.

• Leave the kitchen tidy; no dirty dishes.

• Leave the dishwasher (if available) empty and unloaded.

• Leave the fridge and freezer empty and clean.

11. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Parties, events or group gatherings without permission

• Drug use, trafficking or possession of prohibited substances

• Fireworks or dangerous objects

• Commercial activities without prior consultation

• Aggressive, intimidating or disruptive behaviour

3. Liability

• You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your party.

• We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings

13. In Case of Violations

Serious violations may result in the immediate termination of the stay, without refund.

14. Security Deposit

• A €300 security deposit will be charged upon arrival.

• This deposit must be paid in full prior to or at check‑in.

• Any damage, missing items, additional cleaning costs or violations will be deducted from this deposit.

• If the accommodation is left according to the house rules, clean and undamaged, we will refund the deposit within a few days to the account you provided.

• If damage exceeds the deposit amount, additional costs may be charged.
